About Us...

As well as being a mum of 2 children I also have over 17 years of valuable experience within the Early Years sector, holding a number of Early Years qualifications as well as a trainers qualification.

Throughout my time I have worked in a number of different roles, supporting children aged between 0-5 years , some with complex needs.

I have also supported a number of settings across the South of England and South Wales to deliver better outcomes for children through play based experiences.

Seeing the joy and the benefit that role play or imaginative play had, with not just my own children but also the children who I have had the privilege of working with over the years. I was keen to set up a children’s play centre with a difference. One that would be able to provide children with first class opportunities to enable them to develop in a happy, safe and stimulating environment that promotes learning through play.

Dre Twt is a “Twt” version of a town with realistic locations, reflecting the roles that we know and love within our community, such as a supermarket, beauty salon, vet surgery, theatre, cafe, builders yard and Post office, with a mini road that links them altogether. Children are able to become whoever they want to be.

To make sure that children get the most out of each area within the town. A team of Early Years professionals came together to provide their expertise in how the areas should not only enhance children’s play but how the areas and the resources within it would help develop children’s thinking and learning skills. Also planning and providing a positive stimulating environment that allows parents and carers to play and interact with their children through sessional activities. All staff are fully trained and have an up to date DBS check. Staff are also trained in Paediatric First Aid.

We aim for each session to be of a high quality and for children to gain the most out of their session. Dre Twt has gone through rigorous safety checks and each station is regularly inspected. During the session staff will discreetly return items that have been discarded to their rightful place without interrupting children’s play, this way children can continue to enjoy their play.

Our play sessions are run at set times and are 75 minutes long week days and 90 minutes long at weekends. In order for every child to gain the most enjoyment out of their time at Dre Twt we limit the amount of numbers attending each session, therefore we strongly advise to book in advance. You’re welcome to turn up, but we cannot guarantee entry if our sessions are full and we would hate to disappoint. Our online booking system is simple to use. If we are fully booked or closed for a private booking, time slots on the online booking form will not be available to be booked. We can only take telephone bookings two hours before a session and payment must be maid prior to the session, these are subject to availability.

We regret that we are unable to keep bookings without payment.

We sell hot and cold drinks and light pre packed snacks such as crisps and chocolate.

Please remember your socks, they must be worn within Dre Twt and shoes are to be removed.

We close after each session to tidy and return Dre Twt to its original state. This allows the next group to have the same magical experience when they enter the town.

We have a separate room that can be booked for the use of parties. Please see our part bookings for more information.

Please note we have limited parking available. We would be grateful if customers can reverse park when parking outside Dre Twt. More parking is also available down the lane within the church car park.
